Visiting Angels of Baytown is hiring Live-in Home Health Aides (HHA) to support clients throughout the Southeast Houston area. You will help with personal care, meals, mobility, and companionship, following care plans and reporting health changes.

Qualifications

• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess a Valid Driver's License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required.
• Excellent time-management skills.
• Reliable transportation to get to and from client homes when scheduled.
• Physical endurance for carrying groceries and supporting a client.
• Comfortable with housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints.
• Willing to comply with health and safety standards (background check).
• Bring compassion and a desire to brighten each client's day.

Responsibilities

• Assist with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.

• Remind clients to take prescription medications appropriately.
• Provide assistance with mobility and ambulation at home and during appointments.

Live-in Home Health Aide - HHA Job Requirements:

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
• Possess a Valid Drivers License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to use to transport clients
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed)
• Have excellent time-management skills and can juggle multiple duties at once

• Feel confident in your physical endurance when it comes to things like carrying groceries and physically supporting a client

• Are willing and able to comply with state and office-specific health and safety standards (ex., background check)
