Visiting Angels Wichita Falls is seeking a Live-in Home Health Aide (HHA) to support clients across the local area, including Bowie and nearby communities. The role focuses on enhancing quality of life through personalized care plans, with opportunities for advanced dementia/alzheimer’s training.

You will assist with activities of daily living, meals, mobility, light housekeeping, and safe transportation. The position emphasizes companionship, reliability, and adherence to health and safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver\'s license, car insurance, and a reliable personal vehicle to transport clients.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills essential.
• First Aid / emergency response training required (provided if needed).
• Strong time-management and multitasking abilities.
• Reliable transportation to client homes at scheduled times.
• Comfort with housekeeping and cooking duties while adhering to dietary constraints.
• Willingness to comply with state and office health and safety standards (background checks).
• Bring compassion and a desire to brighten each client\'s day.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Support mobility and ambulation, including during appointments and errands.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients and assist with light housekeeping.
• Provide companionship and report health changes or incidents.
• Remind and assist with medication administration as appropriate.
• accompany clients on shopping trips and during activities.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
