Job summary

Helping U Homecare is seeking compassionate Home Health and Personal Care Aides for LIVE IN (24 hour) cases across the five boroughs of New York. The role focuses on delivering quality in-home care and supporting patients in daily activities and mobility.

We look for responsible, dedicated caregivers who are reliable and empathetic. Benefits include paid orientation, weekly pay, medical coverage, PTO, holiday pay, daily pay, and additional benefits.

Qualifications

• NYS PCA or HHA certificate from a Department of Health-approved training School.
• Physical, 8-10 Drug Screen, Quantfieron or PPD (within 3 months of hire), Rubella & Rubeola labs.
• COVID card preferred.
• Two references.
• Criminal background check before hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide health care services in clients' residences.
• Perform domestic and household tasks.
• Transport and accompany patients to the doctor’s office or hospital.
• Assist with client’s personal care activities.
• Assist patients with mobility.
• Provide companionship and basic emotional or psychological support.
