Visiting Angels Montgomery is seeking a Live-in Home Health Aide - HHA to support seniors in the Central Alabama area, including Tuskegee and Montgomery. This role offers compassionate companionship, light housekeeping, meal prep, mobility support, and transportation assistance.

We provide opportunities for advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care to help caregivers grow their skills and deliver quality in-home care.

Competenze

• Passion to serve others and provide compassionate care.
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid.
• Knowledge of housekeeping and cooking with dietary considerations.
• Strong time management and interpersonal skills.

Mansioni

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (appointments, walks)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients
• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
