Job summary

Visiting Angels of Edmond is hiring Live-in Home Health Aides (HHA) to serve clients across local areas including Stillwater and Edmond. The role offers flexible schedules, competitive wages, and growth opportunities within the nation’s leading home-care network.

As an HHA, you will support clients with personal care, meal planning, mobility, and companionship, while maintaining strict safety and health standards. Training in dementia/alzheimer’s care is available to expand skills.

Qualifications

• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License, Car Insurance, and a Reliable Personal Vehicle to transport clients.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
• Training in First Aid and emergency response is required (provided if needed).

Responsibilities

• Help clients with personal care and hygiene.
• Assist clients with light physical exercise or walks.
• Plan and prepare meals with clients.
• Handle light housekeeping duties.
• Report health changes or unusual incidents.
• Provide pleasant, supportive companionship.
• Respond quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
• Accompany and supervise clients during shopping trips.
• Remind clients to take prescription medications appropriately.
• Provide assistance with mobility and ambulation both at home and during appointments/errands.
