Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus homes, caring for 8–13 students to foster academic, emotional and social growth. Role begins with nine days on, then three off, with progression to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group.

Responsibilities include supervision, scheduling, devotions, chapel, driving to activities, and budgeting. Benefits include comprehensive coverage and relocation support.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role, married at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and potential to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee student wellness.
• Plan and participate in developmental and recreational activities with students.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
