Job description

Job Title: Live-In Flex Direct Support Professional Program: Adult Services, Residential

Salary/Hourly Status: Hourly FLSA Classification: Nonexempt

Schedule: Full-Time, 40 hours (flex) Reports to: Workforce Manager

About the live-in arrangement

This position includes residence in a private, self-contained apartment on site. The apartment is its own separate unit, fully independent from the members’ living space, so you have your own home and privacy when you’re off the clock. Living on site is a condition of employment.

What you’ll do

You’ll help members build connections, grow their skills, and live the lives they choose. That means modeling healthy relationships, communicating effectively, and encouraging independence and self-determination every day. You’ll help maintain a safe, supportive home where each person is treated with dignity and respect, and where their interests, culture, and needs come first. You’ll also represent Waypoint professionally in the community and with families and guardians, always upholding our values of ethics, responsibility, and confidentiality.

What we’re looking for
  • Experience in direct support or caregiving, with preference for one or more of the following credentials: PSS, CNA, CRMA, or DSP certification
  • Flexibility and reliability to adapt your schedule across two programs
  • Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
  • A genuine commitment to person-centered support and helping others thrive
Company Overview

Waypoint is a nonprofit organization with a mission to support and empower children and adults with intellectual and other disabilities to reach their fullest potential.
