Job summary

PrimeEstate is seeking a compassionate Live-In Caregiver to care for an elderly couple in Akron. The role includes duties such as bathing, dressing, meal prep, and companionship in a full-time capacity with room and board.

Responsibilities include personal care, daily living assistance, health monitoring, and accompanying the couple to appointments. Requires English proficiency and a valid work authorization for Canada.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience as a caregiver for seniors.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
• Legal authorization to work in Canada.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care for the elderly couple including bathing, dressing and grooming.
• Assist with daily living activities such as meal preparation, light housekeeping and medication reminders.
• Monitor the health of the elderly couple and report any changes or concerns to the family.
• Accompany the couple to appointments or outings as needed.
• Provide companionship and engage in activities to promote mental stimulation.
