Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks a Full-time Flex Houseparent couple to live in on-campus student homes and provide care for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include supervision, routines, wellness, transportation, and devotions, with a nine-on/three-off schedule evolving to a placed role with a consistent group.

Two spouses must be married at least two years and be 27+. The role offers housing, meals on duty, benefits, and relocation assistance as part of total compensation,

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth (campus community mentors, tutors, or program staff).
• This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities with students.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
