Job summary

Milton Hershey School seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents on campus in Hershey, PA. You will provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students, fostering a family-like environment focused on academic, emotional, and social growth.

Initial duties rotate across homes, with a nine-on/three-off schedule. The role leads to a placed houseparent assignment; compensation includes housing, meals, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus policy.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to drive student vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
