Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living on campus and caring for a group of 8–13 students in a family-like home.

The role emphasizes supervision, development of students' academic, emotional, and social growth, budgeting, and coordinating activities, with a nine-days-on, three-days-off cycle and a path to a placed houseparent.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for married couples.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.

Aufgaben

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
