Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking married couples to fill Full-time Flex Houseparent roles. Couples reside in on-campus homes, supervising 8–13 students and shaping a structured, family-like environment to support academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, routines, transportation, activities, devotions, budgeting, and reporting. This role begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule, with potential placement into a fixed student home.

Qualifications

• Experience working with youth or volunteers in youth settings.
• Two-person couple role for married partners.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and meet physical requirements.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and oversee student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental/recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
