Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents as a married couple to live in on-campus student homes, guiding 8–13 students daily. You’ll supervise routines, mentor youth, and coordinate activities while supporting academic, emotional, and social growth in a structured family-like setting.

New hires start with nine days on, then three off, and may transition to a placed houseparent with a continued home-based assignment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-spouse, married-for-at-least-two-years requirement.
• Both spouses must be at least 27 years old.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Aufgaben

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational time.
• Lead daily devotions and attend Sunday Chapel with students.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
