Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking Full-time Flex Houseparents (couples) to live in on-campus homes and guide 8–13 students daily. The role features nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, with duties spanning supervision, activities, devotions, and budgeting.

The position requires a married couple (two years minimum), both spouses 27+, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Travel and driving responsibilities are included.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and participate in developmental/recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
