Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is hiring married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of about 8–13 students living in the home.

Responsibilities include daily supervision, scheduling, activities, devotions, and Chapel attendance; the role emphasizes safety, integrity, and role-modeling for students.

Qualifications

• Two-person role requires married couple for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be 27 years or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Experience with youth is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship for students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and supervise student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational time.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
• Start with nine consecutive days on duty, then three days off, transitioning to a placed home.
