Job summary

Milton Hershey School is seeking married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents on our on-campus homes in Hershey, PA. Couples will supervise and guide groups of 8-13 students, maintain routines, and support student development in a family-like setting.

Initial duties cover nine days on duty with three off, with potential transition to a placed houseparent role. Benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement savings, and relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple role, married at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to drive student vans.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities.
• Lead daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
