Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents. Couples reside in on-campus student homes, supervising 8-13 students and shaping a structured, family-like environment to support academic, emotional, and social growth.

The role covers daily supervision, activities planning, and chapel devotion leadership, with a nine-on/three-off work cycle and progression to a placed houseparent role.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and monitoring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
