Job summary

Visiting Angels Montgomery is seeking a Live-In Certified Nurse Aide to support seniors in the Central Alabama area, including Auburn and surrounding communities. This role focuses on compassionate, in-home care and companionship.

You will assist with light housekeeping, meals, mobility, personal care, and transportation, while pursuing advanced training in dementia or Alzheimer’s care.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside.

• Do the client’s shopping or accompany them when they shop.
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can’t complete on their own.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report any unusual incidents.
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency.

Live-In Certified Nurse Aide Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene

• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)

• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
