Job summary

Nurturing Touch Wellness LLC is seeking a compassionate Caregiver for a residential home setting. You will provide person-centered care, assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and promote independence.

Responsibilities include administering medications per policy, preparing meals, light housekeeping, transportation for appointments, and collaborating with nurses and therapists to follow care plans while upholding HIPAA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Caregiving experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to pass background checks and meet agency employment requirements.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications as prescribed and document administration per policy.
• Prepare and serve meals following dietary guidelines.
• Encourage residents with household tasks to promote independence.
• Monitor residents' well-being, reporting concerns to supervisors or medical staff.
• Maintain daily logs, medication records, incident reports, and progress notes.
• Provide companionship, support, and respect toward all residents.
• Transport or accompany residents to appointments and community activities.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a clean, safe home environment.
• Assist with crisis intervention and de-escalation while ensuring safety.
• Follow individualized care plans and collaborate with healthcare professionals.
• Adhere to agency policies, HIPAA, infection control, and safety standards.
