Job summary

Manchester Care Homes is seeking attentive Live-In Caregivers to provide 24-hour on-site care for residents at our Dallas-area communities. Caregivers live in the home during scheduled days and support residents day and night with planned rest periods.

Open availability for multi-day stays (3–4 days) is required, with shifts not clocked as 12 hours continuously. Caregivers engage residents personally, follow care plans, prepare meals, and maintain a clean, inviting home environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two or more years of relevant experience with the aged or informed.
• Medical background, training, certification and experience highly preferred.
• Ability to safely lift, bend, stoop, and reach as required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and well-being of all residents at all times.
• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) as directed by care plans.
• Cook and serve meals following posted menus; accommodate substitutions as needed.
• Supervise resident medications and ensure timely administration.
• Keep living areas, bathrooms, kitchen and dining areas clean and orderly.
• Follow House Manager instructions and facility policies.
