Job summary

Glen Park Senior Living in Ojai, CA seeks a dedicated Live-In Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities and to maintain a safe, comfortable home where they can thrive.

You will provide compassionate care, assist with meals and personal care, participate in activities, and commit to ongoing trainings including CPR/First Aid certification. A $1000 hiring bonus applies for full-time roles and $500 for part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Experience in caregiving for elderly or disabled individuals is preferred.
• Ability to assist with daily living activities with dignity and empathy.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
• Provide meal assistance and help with snacks.

Job Summary: As a Direct Care Staff member, you will assist elderly residents, convalescents, and individuals with disabilities in a care facility setting. Your responsibilities will include supporting daily living activities, helping to maintain a clean living environment, and participating in the nutritional, personal care, and social aspects of our residents' lives. You may also offer advice to residents and their families on nutrition, cleanliness, and household activities to help support a fulfilling lifestyle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Daily Living Support:Provide assistance with activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and toileting.
• Meal Assistance:Help serve meals at mealtimes and snacks as needed.
• Activities Program Participation:Engage in and support the facility’s Activities Program to enhance residents' quality of life.
• Ongoing Training:Attend monthly and quarterly in-services provided by the facility, totaling one hour per month and twelve hours per year.
• Certifications:Maintain current CPR and First Aid training.

For Residents with Developmental Disabilities:

• Align performance with the facility’s Program Design.
• Complete specialized training for working with these residents.
• Achieve goals outlined in each resident's Individual Program Plan (IPP).
• Maintain detailed progress notes to track accomplishments of IPP objectives.
