Griswold Home Care in Garner, NC is seeking experienced Live-In Caregivers to support one client in the home for the duration of the assignment. You provide daily living assistance, personal care, mobility support, meals, and companionship based on an individualized care plan.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on caregiving experience
• Experience with personal care and activities of daily living
• Comfortable providing hands-on personal care
• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or GED
• Current TB test or willingness to obtain one
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation and current auto insurance
• Able to pass required background screening
• Dependable, compassionate, professional, and safety-focused
• Able to safely perform the physical responsibilities of the position
• Strong communication skills
• Comfortable staying in a client's home for the duration of a live-in assignment

Responsibilities

Griswold Home Care is hiring experienced, dependable caregivers for Live-In Caregiver opportunities throughout Garner and the surrounding areas.

Are you an experienced caregiver who enjoys building a strong relationship with one client and providing consistent, one-on-one care? A live-in position may be a great fit for you! Our live-in caregivers stay in the client's home during their assignment and provide assistance with the client's daily needs, personal care, mobility, meals, companionship, and household routines based on the client's individualized care plan.

What Does a Live-In Caregiver Do?

Live-in care is different from a traditional hourly caregiving shift. Live-in caregivers reside in the client's home for the duration of the assignment and must be comfortable being away from their own home while providing care and support throughout the day and overnight. Responsibilities may include assisting with personal care, bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility, transfers, repositioning, and Hoyer/mechanical lifts; preparing meals, providing medication reminders, companionship, supervision, and light housekeeping; and assisting with the client's daily routines and overnight needs. Caregivers should be comfortable working independently, following the client's care plan, maintaining professional boundaries, and respecting the client's privacy, home, belongings, and routines, while having the support of the Griswold office team.

This position is best suited for someone who enjoys providing consistent care to one client and is comfortable with the responsibilities of a live-in caregiving arrangement.
