Role Overview / Purpose and Scope

The Live Hangeris responsible forhanging chickens on shackles on the production line while working as part of a team to support consistent product flow and production efficiency. This role helps ensure shackles remain full while following safety, sanitation, quality, and GMP standards.

The Live Hanger playsan important rolein supporting Farmer Focus production operations by performing essential production line duties, communicating effectively with coworkers and supervisors, and contributing to a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

Compensation

Compensation Range: $22.75/hr

Additional Compensation: $1.50/hr Shift differential

The posted compensation range for this role should reflect the minimum and maximum amount Farmer Focus in good faith expects to pay at the time of posting, based on factors such as internal equity, relevant experience, market data, and the budgeted amount available for the position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in poultry processing, food processing, manufacturing, production, or general labor.

• Experience working on a fast-paced production line.

• Familiarity with GMP standards, production safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel

Work is conducted primarily in a manufacturing and poultry production environment. This role requires access to the poultry production environment and involves working with live poultry and production line equipment. The team member must be able to tolerate varying heat, wet, and chill conditions within the plant. Hearing and eye protective equipment arerequiredin the production area. Hair and beard nets arerequiredin the production area.Additionalpersonal protective equipment may berequiredbased on task, location, and safety requirements. This position requires standing forlong periods, repetitive use of hands and fine motor skills,lifting upto 60 pounds consistently, working near production equipment, and performing fast-paced production line duties.
