Job summary

POLITICO is seeking an Events Associate Producer for POLITICO Live in Arlington to help plan and produce live and virtual events, from concept to execution.

You will coordinate across editorial, sales, marketing, design and external partners, manage timelines, budgets and post-event activities, and support speaker bookings and travel logistics, with travel up to 15-20% as needed. The role supports nonpartisan, fact-driven journalism and requires strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of event planning experience.
• Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent events.
• Experience supporting speaker bookings and travel logistics.

Responsibilities

• Plan and produce live and virtual POLITICO Live events.
• Translate goals into event design and production standards.
• Oversee venue, AV, design, budgeting, promotions, and registrations.
• Collaborate across editorial, sales, marketing, and design.
• Build timelines, run planning calls, and keep stakeholders accountable.
• Ensure budgets, cost savings, and post-event tasks are completed.
• Coordinate travel for speakers and manage post-event assets.
