Job summary

Legends Global operates the KFC Yum! Center in Louisville, where a Maintenance Specialist oversees show setup and electrical building upkeep in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).

This on-site role reports to the Maintenance Manager and supports a broad range of electrical tasks during events. Qualified candidates typically have a high school diploma or GED and 2–4 years of related experience, with an electrical license and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 2–4 years of related maintenance experience.
• Must maintain electrical license or identification.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance manuals.
• Able to read blueprints or technical diagrams.
• Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Performs scheduled maintenance and inspects electrical components to diagnose and resolve issues.
• Tests electrical systems for safety and compatibility.
• Diagnoses malfunctioning systems and repairs wiring, transformers, and motors.
• Connects wires to circuit breakers, transformers, and equipment.
• Installs, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring and fixtures to meet NEC standards.
• Coordinates with outside vendors for repairs and production needs.
• Manages temporary event power distribution and emergency troubleshooting during live events.
