Job summary

Broward Center for the Performing Arts is seeking an Event Technician to support PACA and The Parker, ensuring smooth event execution and customer service across venues. On-site work may also occur at Rose & Alfred Miniaci Performing Arts Center and Aventura venues.

The role requires physical ability, ability to work nights and weekends, and clear English communication. Training in production and safety will be provided for multi-venue support.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to communicate in English, written and spoken.
• Ability to climb stairs and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cross train in stage production and event setup.
• Assist with facility maintenance and upkeep.
• Assist with promotional elements and setup/tear downs.
• Maintain clean and safe areas with a 'clean as you go' policy.
• Communicate needs and safety concerns to supervisors.
• Clock in/out accurately and coordinate with event staff.
• Support Production Manager with production/operations for events.
