Qualifications

  • High School Diploma.
  • Experience in Theatre, Entertainment Technology, Lighting Design, or a related field.
  • Able to troubleshoot technical systems and manage multiple projects with limited supervision.
  • Able to work independently or with a team in dynamic production environments; comfortable heights and lifting up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

  • Sets up, maintains and operates sound, lighting, stage and other technical equipment and systems.
  • Ensures smooth operation of the technical aspects of all productions.
  • Monitors the condition of equipment and performs preventive maintenance.
  • Maintains current knowledge of equipment and industry tech.
  • Stays updated on new tech for lighting, video, and audio engineering.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned by Redfern Technical Director.
