Job summary

Legends Global is seeking an AV Specialist to support View Boston Observatory and events at View Boston in Boston, MA. The role covers AV system setup, 1st/2nd line support, and coordination with vendors to ensure seamless event operations.

The successful candidate will have a background in IT/AV support, strong networking knowledge, and hands-on experience with AV systems and conferencing platforms. On-site work includes flexible hours to cover events.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• 1–3+ years of IT/AV support or related technical experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide setup and support for multiple POS systems at View Boston Observatory.
• Provide desktop support for internal staff.
• Coordinate with vendors to resolve issues and implement changes.
• Communicate productively across all managerial levels.
• Provide level 1 & 2 POS support and escalate as needed.
• Provide AV and Event Support for View Boston Observatory.
• Serve as View Boston building-wide IT contact on IT matters.
• Conduct Observatory walk-throughs to ensure systems are operational during events.
• Replace defective hardware before, during, and after events.
• Diagnose software, firmware, & hardware issues and implement solutions.
• Work with external vendors for proprietary systems.
• Track RMAs for equipment inbound and outbound for repairs.
• Maintain knowledge of the organization and adhere to standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Venue Technology Manager
