TAIT seeks an Automation Engineer to service, maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade automation and control systems across live entertainment environments. The role emphasizes reliability and safety in fast-paced settings, with international travel and collaboration across TAIT teams.

Responsibilities include on-call support, on-site service visits, and system upgrades, with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting and documentation.

Qualifications

• GED or HS diploma required.
• 4+ years of technical experience in field applications, mechanical system maintenance, automation installation, controls, or related discipline.
• Experience with automation systems on cruise ships is a plus.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems.

Responsabilités

• Provide on-call and emergency technical support to client partners and respond to faults.
• Perform rapid triage and troubleshooting remotely and onsite to restore functionality.
• Diagnose and resolve faults across automation, control, networks, drives, and safety systems.
• Plan and execute scheduled and reactive onsite service visits with maintenance and validation.
• Maintain and troubleshoot automation, control, mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems.
• Travel on short notice to support client sites, potentially internationally.
• Coordinate with Engineering and client teams to support performance and service requirements.
