Job summary

MGM Resorts International in Springfield, Massachusetts is seeking an Entertainment Tech Stagehand to bring live entertainment to life. You will operate and maintain essential technical equipment, supporting the artistic vision of our shows at Mass Mutual Center.

We require 3+ years of experience in live performance or technical theatre, willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays, and the ability to perform in a fast-paced theatrical environment. OSHA 10 and I.A.T.S.E.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of live show or technical theatre experience.
• Able and willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Experience in live theatre environment with fast-paced set changes and audio/lighting effects.
• OSHA 10 card.
• I.A.T.S.E. Local 53 union preferred.

Responsibilities

• Run cue tracks for audio, electronics, fly, follow spot, lighting, carpentry, and props.
• Theatre maintenance, inspections, and repairs as assigned / approved per track.
• Set up and tear down special events as needed.
• Maintain professional relationships with internal and external guests of MGMRI, our resident show partner and talent booked into the theater.
• Maintain the Artistic Vision set forth by Talent/Artist within MGMRI and Department Guidelines.
