Job summary

Dorney Park & Wildwater Kingdom is seeking an AVL technician to support live entertainment across shows, attractions, and events in the Lehigh Valley. You will operate audio and lighting boards, read lighting plots, and help troubleshoot show systems to ensure top-quality performances.

The role requires knowledge of ETC ION or similar control systems, QLab, and MAC OS, plus the ability to work with designers during rehearsals and adapt to various seasonal promotions.

Qualifications

• Experience with AVL systems and live show operations.
• Ability to read lighting plots and cues and mix live bands.
• Familiarity with lighting and sound equipment in an amusement park setting.

Overview

$14.50 - $19.50 / Hour

Help create this year’s shows, attractions, and events. Do you have previous experience and are looking to continue using your skills in an amusement park setting? Now is your chance to do just that by becoming an AVL technician with Dorney Park’s Live Entertainment Department!

You’ll also...

• Knowledge of ETC ION and/or Digital Sound Boards, QLab, and MAC OS.
• Capability to read and interpret lighting plots and ques and/or mix live bands.
• Maintain Entertainment facilities and technical equipment.
• Execute shows as either an Audio or Lighting board operator.
• Work with Designers during rehearsal to ensure high product quality.
• Assist in the installation and troubleshooting of show, haunted attractions and event technical systems.
• Work individually or in a team setting.
• Operate a variety of equipment, as assigned, such as golf carts, forklifts, scissor lifts, boom lifts, construction equipment, and vehicles.
