Job summary

The NAB Leadership Foundation is seeking a News Photographer to cover general news assignments in a fast-paced newsroom environment, using ENG cameras, cell phones, and editing gear. You will support live feeds and be prepared for overtime and varied shifts.

Ideal candidates have at least two years of video experience, fluency in English, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license with a clean record. Lifting up to 50 lbs is required.

Qualifications

• Fluency in English and strong communication skills are required.
• Minimum two years of experience operating video recording equipment; larger markets may require more.
• Proficiency with video recording equipment and related editing/office tools.
• Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexibility to work any shift, weekends, holidays, and irregular hours.
• Clean motor vehicle record and the ability to drive; willingness to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Cover general news assignments in a fast-paced environment using electronic video cameras and editing tools.
• Operate live ENG remote newsgathering equipment.
• Meet deadlines; work overtime and multiple shifts as needed.
• Be available for breaking news and respond quickly to events.
• Cross-train in other areas of news operations as required.
