Job summary

MFI Technologies Incorporated is seeking an Audio Visual Specialist to produce live broadcasts, interviews, post-production, and events in support of MPR News. You will bring expertise in both audio and video production to deliver compelling content for diverse audiences.

You will collaborate with colleagues across the Technology & Operations division and external partners to maintain excellent technical quality of MPR/APMG broadcasts, audio, video recordings, podcasts, and events.

• Experience with live audio mixing and console operation for broadcasts and events.

• Experience with multi-track recording, mixing, and editing software.
• Excellent customer service.
• Experience in broadcasting/media environments (preferred).
• ISP technologies knowledge (VoIP, IP codecs, routers, switches).
• Digital production/content management systems for on-air production.
• Fluency with Pro Tools.
• LUFS loudness standards knowledge.
• Audio-over-IP certification/training (Dante).
• Electronics/AV systems knowledge.
• AV equipment knowledge (projectors, switchers).
• Videography and camera operation experience.
• Ability to shape content editing for audience storytelling.
