Job summary

Disney in Salt Lake City is seeking an Audio Communications Specialist II to support REMI and on‑air production. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and pays $22 per hour.

You will set up and troubleshoot intercom systems, coordinate with production teams, and maintain documentation of assets and configurations while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced live broadcast environment.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of hands-on television production or related experience.
  • Basic knowledge of television production equipment and technologies.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage concurrent projects.
  • Schedule flexibility including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Strong interpersonal, IT, and planning skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a dynamic team.
  • High school diploma or equivalent educational attainment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide audio/communications support for REMI or traditional production teams.
  • Setup, troubleshoot, and QC intercoms and integrate with venues during live broadcasts.
  • Maintain professionalism and clear communication while supporting teams.
  • Diagnose and report permanent solutions for audio/communications issues.
  • Collaborate with production, management, remote ops, and DMED tech to support infrastructure.
  • Respond to production requests to meet needs.
  • Document audio assets and trunk configurations.
  • Participate in training to stay current with equipment and workflows.
  • Coordinate installation and configuration of mobile units and remote connectivity.
  • Contribute to admin tasks on O365, Smartsheet, and SAP.
