Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in legal studies, criminal justice, or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience providing legal assistance.
• Experience supporting litigation and regulatory proceedings, including preparing and managing filings.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and court filing procedures.
• Proficiency with Westlaw, Lexis, or similar databases; ability to draft, proofread documents.

Responsibilities

• Provide paralegal support to intake, investigations, and litigation counsel; gather evidence and draft materials.
• Conduct complex factual and legal analysis to support investigations and litigation.
• Handle closure and post-discipline work including filings and cost collection matters.
• Provide logistical support to counsel and assist in policy development.
• Coordinate with attorneys, referees, court staff, and external parties while managing deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Director.
