The role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines. A bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 2+ years of paralegal experience and knowledge of Georgia civil procedure.

Qualifications

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Georgia Civil procedure rules.
  • Proven analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with LexisNexis research.
  • Ability to prioritize urgent projects and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client/firm deadlines and track substantive matter developments; case investigation and support.
  • Conduct research to support legal proceedings.
  • Record and store client information.
  • Assist attorneys in managing all aspects of litigation.
  • Assist with drafting legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, and discovery.
  • Organize and electronically file pleadings.
