Job summary

FINITETEK INC. seeks an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Detroit, MI team. The role focuses on high-stakes civil matters with a portfolio including insurance defense, product liability, class actions, and complex commercial litigation.

You will manage large document volumes, support discovery, and assist attorneys throughout all phases of litigation. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of paralegal experience in litigation, strong Relativity skills, and excellent organizational

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation paralegal experience.
• Experience in insurance defense and/or product liability litigation preferred.
• Relativity experience required or strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with e-discovery, document review, and litigation databases.
• Experience with state and federal court filings and procedures.
• Strong knowledge of the litigation lifecycle and discovery process.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple matters, priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal technology platforms.

Responsibilities

• Support insurance defense, product liability, and class actions.
• Assist with case development, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Manage large volumes of litigation documents.
• Support e-discovery and document review using Relativity.
• Coordinate document productions, privilege reviews, and discovery responses.
• Review, organize, and summarize deposition transcripts and case materials.
• Prepare deposition, hearing, and trial materials.
• Assist with pleadings, motions, exhibits, and court filings.
• Conduct factual and legal research as directed by attorneys.
• Maintain case calendars and track litigation deadlines.
• Coordinate with clients, experts, vendors, opposing counsel, and litigation teams.
• Assist attorneys with trial and hearing preparation.
• Perform other litigation support responsibilities as needed.
