Job summary

Ragsdale Liggett PLLC in Florida seeks a Litigation Paralegal to support our trial team across all phases of litigation. You will perform legal research, manage case files, file documents via the Florida E-Filing Portal, and coordinate with clients and witnesses.

The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, highly organized, and capable of handling tight deadlines while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism. Prior paralegal experience in civil litigation is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Litigation Paralegal or similar role preferred.
• Certification or associate degree as a Paralegal preferred.
• Familiarity with Florida civil procedure and the court system.
• Strong verbal and written communication; highly organized with document management.

Responsibilities

• Managing attorney calendars and tracking litigation deadlines under the Florida Rules of Civil Procedure.
• Filing pleadings and documents through the Florida E-Filing Portal.
• Prepare case-specific documents, including memoranda and briefs.
• Ensure that case-related documents are well organized and available for review.
• Conduct legal research and investigation.
• Provide general administrative support.
• Communicate with clients and witnesses.
• Attend court sessions and record important information.
• Maintain and update documentation.
• Assist with discovery requests.
