Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to provide essential support to attorneys before, during, and after trials. Responsibilities include preparing legal documents, e-filing court documents, conducting legal research, and managing client communications.

Job description

Summary

We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team. As a Litigation Paralegal you will work closely with our attorneys providing support before, during and after trials.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare legal documents including pleadings, motions, affidavits, complaints, and legal memoranda.
  • E‑file all court documents in state and federal court.
  • Communicate with clients, court, counsel, and other parties.
  • Conduct legal research and factual investigation.
  • Prepare discovery documents, interrogatories, and responses.
  • Draft and serve summons.
  • Coordinate and summarize depositions.
  • Prepare trial binders and exhibits.
  • Draft pleadings, motions and appellate documents and file them with the court.
  • Perform administrative duties such as scheduling hearings, managing deadlines, organizing case files, and handling logistics.
  • Maintain pleadings and discovery indexes.
  • Organize exhibits, documents, evidence, briefs, and appendices.
  • Aid attorneys with interrogatories and other discovery requests.
  • Gather relevant information from a variety of sources.
  • Liaise between trial teams and internal/external third parties.
  • Prepare witnesses.
  • Assist with case settlements.
  • Other tasks as requested by the attorney.
Qualifications
  • Associate degree, certificate, or equivalent work experience (preferred).
  • 2+ years of litigation experience (preferred).
  • Completion of a nationally accredited paralegal program (preferred).
  • Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage workload with a positive attitude and minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient in calendaring depositions, mediations, and hearings.
  • Applicable knowledge of motions, discovery, evidence, litigation documentation, court rules, and procedures.
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
  • This role is on‑site, which gives you the chance to be fully immersed in the work and gain direct experience alongside the team. Being in the office helps new team members get up to speed quickly and feel more connected.
