• Prepare, draft, file, and serve court documents, including routine filings, notices, motions, and subpoenas in federal and state courts.
• Coordinate and manage case schedules, hearings, depositions, mediations, trials, and expert witness communications.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical case files, litigation databases, witness lists, exhibits, and trial presentation materials.
• Conduct legal and factual research, verify citations, and assist with case analysis.

Job description

Position Summary:

The Litigation Paralegal is an important role that supports attorneys through all phases of litigation in a wide range of matters. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple complex litigation matters while working collaboratively with attorneys, clients, experts, team members and court personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and support all phases of discovery, including document collection, organization, review, logging, production, and compliance.
• Prepare, draft, file, and serve court documents, including routine filings, notices, motions, and subpoenas in federal and state courts.
• Coordinate and manage case schedules, hearings, depositions, mediations, trials, and expert witness communications.
• Maintain organized electronic and physical case files, litigation databases, witness lists, exhibits, and trial presentation materials.
• Conduct legal and factual research, verify citations, and assist with case analysis.
• Collect, organize, summarize, and manage case records, evidence, deposition materials, exhibits, and related databases.
• Support pretrial, trial, and post-trial preparation, filings, and courtroom logistics.
• Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, experts, court personnel, and staff while managing multiple litigation matters with strong attention to detail.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with ABA-approved paralegal certification or an associate’s degree in paralegal studies.
• 5 years of litigation paralegal experience with a strong understanding of litigation procedures through all stages of a case.
• Proficiency with eDiscovery platforms, litigation support databases, legal research tools, and legal billing practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, including flexibility to work overtime when needed.
