Job summary

Fulton County Probate Court seeks a Paralegal with a current Paralegal Certificate and an associate degree or a bachelor’s in criminal justice, business, or related field. Candidates should have 3–5 years of court or legal experience and 2 years of lead or supervisory work in a legal or court setting.

The role supports attorneys and court operations, prepares filings, assists with case management, and ensures accuracy and compliance with court procedures.

Education And Experience
Paralegal Certificate and Associates degree or Bachelors degree in criminal justice, business, organizational management or related field, and three to five years employment in a court system, criminal justice agency, in-house law department or law firm environment; or an equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by the appointing authority; and 2 years lead or supervisory experience in a legal or court-related setting.
Examination
The examination will consist of an evaluation of education and experience, accomplished by analysis of the application. Application must document that the applicant possesses the minimum knowledge, skills, education and experience as listed to be rated as qualified. If selected, an official, accredited college transcript is required, at time of employment, for all degrees/course work used to qualify for this position.
