Job summary

Hire Consulting Services in Baton Rouge, LA seeks a Litigation Legal Assistant to support attorneys in a hybrid role that blends administrative duties with substantive paralegal work. This is a 100% onsite position with full-time hours and opportunities to contribute to high-stakes litigation.

You will prepare pleadings and motions, manage calendars and deadlines, assist with discovery, and coordinate with clients and courts.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of litigation support experience in a law firm.
• Working knowledge of Louisiana state and federal court rules and e-filing (PACER/CM-ECF).
• Strong technical skills: Microsoft Office, document management systems, and e-discovery platforms (Relativity or similar).
• Excellent organization and the ability to manage competing deadlines.
• Polished written and verbal communication.
• Discretion, professionalism, and a proactive approach.
• Paralegal certificate or bachelor's degree preferred.
