Litigation & Construction Law Associate – Miami, FL

My client is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented associate to join their growing construction practice in Miami, FL. The ideal candidate will have three to five years of litigation experience. This position offers meaningful client interaction, substantial responsibility, and the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate (JD) required. Must be licensed to practice in the State of Florida.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

• Excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, analytical and communication skills.
• Experience handling complex commercial disputes and Florida construction litigation.
• Confidence in managing cases from inception through resolution.
• Law firm experience preferred.

Compensation

Salaries for lateral associates are commensurate with experience. Starting salaries for first-year associates vary by office location. Compensation increases for attorneys are merit-based according to a combination of key factors, including:

• Quality of work
• Billable hours
• Recruitment activities
• Firm committee participation

We offer a stipend to our first-year associates. The stipend is intended to cover their bar exam fees, review courses, any other bar-related expenses, and to assist them while studying for the bar exam.
