Melone Hatley, P.C. is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Attorney to join our growing team in Virginia. The ideal candidate will handle court proceedings, conduct thorough legal research, and draft comprehensive documents with strong advocacy and negotiation abilities.

The role requires 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in family law, with excellent written and oral skills. You will work both independently and as part of a collaborative team to deliver effective legal strategies.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an accredited law school.
• Active Virginia state bar license.
• 3–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in family law.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Knowledge of state court procedures.

Responsabilités

• Represent clients in court proceedings and negotiations.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support cases.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and contracts.
