Our client, a premier women-owned litigation boutique in Irvine, California, seeks a Senior Attorney/Counsel to join its growing litigation team.

The ideal candidate has top academic credentials and extensive experience handling complex matters in state and federal courts, including commercial and IP disputes.

You will mentor junior associates, manage cases from inception through trial, and collaborate with partners and clients on strategy.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of complex litigation experience.
• Strong background in commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, business disputes, or class actions is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage sophisticated commercial litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal.
• Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions and complex discovery disputes.
• Conduct and defend depositions, oversee discovery strategy, and manage case development.
• Handle court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
• Collaborate closely with partners and clients on litigation strategy and case management.
• Mentor junior associates and contribute to team development.
• Maintain strong client relationships while delivering strategic and business-focused legal solutions.

Position Overview:

The client is seeking a highly accomplished Senior Attorney / Counsel to join its growing litigation team in Irvine.

The ideal candidate will bring exceptional academic credentials, sophisticated litigation experience, and a strong track record handling complex matters in state and federal courts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage sophisticated commercial litigation matters from inception through trial and appeal
• Draft and argue substantive motions, including dispositive motions and complex discovery disputes

• Handle court appearances, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation

• J.D. from a top 50 U.S. law school or AM200 law firm strongly preferred
• 2+ years of complex litigation experience
• Strong background in commercial litigation, intellectual property litigation, business disputes, or class actions preferred

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between [$250,000 – $350,000 annually]. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
