Marcari, Russotto, Spencer & Balaban is seeking a skilled Litigation Attorney to join our established Virginia personal injury team. Starting salary is negotiable with the opportunity to earn commissions and/or bonuses, reflecting experience and results.

This role offers mentorship of paralegals and staff, direct collaboration with the Managing Partner, and involvement in daily operations and strategic priorities.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted and licensed to practice law in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• Active member in good standing with the Virginia State Bar.
• 3-5 years of prior litigation experience, specifically in personal injury matters.
• Highly developed negotiation, communication, and trial advocacy skills.
• Strong knowledge of personal injury law, including medical records, bills, and injury assessment.
• In-depth understanding of Virginia automobile insurance coverages and claims processes.
• Experience with case management software (Neos preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook) and Adobe Acrobat.
• Proven ability to effectively mentor and supervise paralegals and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and guide paralegals and support staff.
• Work directly with the Managing Partner as a trusted right-hand partner.
• Support daily operations and strategic priorities for the firm.
• Handle personal injury cases with careful attention to detail and zeal for advocacy.
