Pyatt Silvestri, a Las Vegas law firm with 40+ years serving Nevada, seeks an Associate Attorney to join its litigation team. The role offers meaningful case work, mentorship, and opportunities to develop trial skills in a collaborative environment.

Requirements include a Juris Doctor and active membership in the Nevada Bar; experience in civil litigation and insurance defense is preferred. Competitive compensation and benefits are provided.

Qualificações

• J.D. from an accredited law school.
• Active Nevada State Bar member in good standing.
• Interest in civil litigation and insurance defense.

Responsabilidades

• Manage assigned litigation matters under the supervision of partners and senior attorneys.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests and responses, memos, correspondence, and other legal documents.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Prepare for and attend hearings, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and other legal proceedings.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, expert witnesses, and insurance representatives.
• Assist with case strategy, evaluation, and resolution.
• Participate in settlement negotiations and ADR proceedings.
• Maintain accurate case files, billing records, and deadlines.
• Assist with trial preparation and trial proceedings as needed.
