Qualifications

• 3–4 years of substantive litigation experience.
• Large or mid-sized law firm experience preferred.
• Former federal judicial clerkship experience is highly valued.
• White collar litigation or investigations experience is a plus.
• Superior academic credentials.
• Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Admission to the Illinois Bar required.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in complex commercial and other litigation matters.
• Conduct sophisticated legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests, and other litigation documents.
• Assist with case strategy and management throughout all stages of litigation.
• Manage discovery and coordinate multiple litigation workstreams.
• Prepare for depositions, hearings, and court proceedings.
• Work directly with partners, associates, clients, and other legal professionals.
• Manage multiple matters and deadlines while producing consistently high-quality work.
