Job summary

Dentons Davis Brown in Des Moines, IA, seeks an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney to join our growing civil litigation team. You will represent clients, conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and manage discovery and court filings.

Ideal candidates hold a JD from an accredited law school, 4–6 years of civil litigation experience, excellent writing and analytical skills, and the ability to juggle multiple assignments in a fast-paced setting. Iowa licensure in good standing is required.

The Des Moines, Iowa office of Dentons Davis Brown is seeking an experienced attorney with excellent academic credentials to join our growing Litigation practice. The person hired for this position will:

• Represent clients in a broad range of civil litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests and responses, and other legal documents.
• Manage all aspects of discovery, including document review, depositions, and written discovery.
• Attend court hearings, mediations, and client meetings.
• Assist with trial preparation and participate in trials as opportunities arise.
• Collaborate with attorneys across multiple practice areas to develop effective strategies and deliver exceptional client service.
