Job description

McCarter & English, LLP, a well-established and growing law firm, is seeking a talented and driven associate having 3-6 years of experience with a strong academic background and excellent writing skills, admitted to practice in Connecticut. Candidates admitted to both Connecticut and New York will be given a preference. The ideal candidate will have experience handling real estate and financial services litigation and other creditors' rights matters in and out of Connecticut state and federal courts. Salary range for this position is $190,000-$220,000 annually, depending on level of experience. Candidates must be eager to succeed in a fast-paced environment that rewards dedication and industriousness. Candidates who receive an offer of employment will be processed through a background check which will be an individualized assessment based on the applicant's or employee's specific record and the duties and requirements of the specific job.
